![]() I just bought a (used, refurbished) 250GB Xbox 360 S, NTSC-U, and the first game I bought was Espgaluda II. I did research online, and they said the regular and platinum editions were region free, but the first press limited edition is region locked. Espgaluda II Official DVD with Book Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu Official DVD Dodonpachi Daifukkatsu Black Label Official DVD. The price for Cave Shooting Collection. And sure enough, the song turned out to be Judy and Mary's 'Sanpomichi' (Promenade). So allow me to put it up today, especially since it's been well over a year since I put up anything by YUKI and company. Sobakasu lyrics. I made sure this was the standard edition — it came with the first print bonus soundtrack, but the cover and disc art were for the standard edition. But my 360 wouldn't read the disc. I cleaned it, still wouldn't read. It had barely any scratches but I got it resurfaced too, still wouldn't read. I tried it in two of my friend's 360s, and it didn't work in either of theirs. I borrowed 10 games from my friends, and it had no problem reading those games. Am I (and apparently the rest of the internet) just completely mistaken about this game being region free, or is there something seriously (but undetectably) wrong with this particularly disc? I can take the disk back to get my money back, so no problem with that. But one of the reasons I decided to get a 360 was to play some of the exclusive shmups, particularly from Cave, like this, DoDonPochi and Mushihime-sama Futari. All of which are non-US releases, but which are allegedly region free. So I'd want to try to buy this game again online, but.. Can anyone here with a U.S. Xbox 360 confirm that these games are region free and you've had no trouble playing them. My Platinum copy works in my US 360, so does Mushi. I looked on Amazon and see two Espgaluda 2s. Platinum and Limited. After some research it seems the Limited has some additional bonus packaging, but the same cover art as Standard. You may have a limited edition copy. Perhaps you can get the disc serial number from your copy and see if anyone here would be kind enough to share their disc serial from their standard copy.:) Edit - proved me wrong, Standard and Limited do not have the same cover art. Standard and Platinum appear to though. Is that Rez OST the in game music (good) or the 'ost' which was different from the in game music (not quite as good). The main gripe about the OST is that it has a crappy version of mind killer. The rest seemed ok to me. I'd have to check my shooters to see if they came with soundtracks. Most of the shooter soundtracks I'd have would be extras with the games. I do have the Salamander soundtrack lying around, but I don't heavily recommend it. The instrumentation for the Salamander 1 tracks is too basic to really get into unless you're a purist. ![]() Download driver gadmei utv 380 windows 7 64 bit. The Salamander 2 tracks are very well done, but I'd rather have a soundtrack of the S1 tracks done with the S2 quality. Edit: I checked thru a few piles of games: Rez Gamer's Guide To Salamander Arcade Border Down Shikigami no Shiro 2 Thunderforce V. My shooter soundtrack collection: Detana!! This is what I got that wasn't mentioned yet. Most of them I've ripped from the original soundtrack CDs. - Battle Bakraid - Battle Garegga (both older & newer version w/remixes) - G-Darius [OST] - Gekirindan - Konami Shooting Battle I + II ('heavy metal' arranges of many shmups) - Omega Fighter & Atomic Robo-Kid - Pulstar - Rayforce - Rayxanber III - Super Darius II - PC-Engine World (arranged by T's Music) - Syvalion - Tatsujin Oh/Truxton II - Thunder Force IV - Viewpoint and not really a shooter, but I also have the FZ Series 'AXIS' (album (which is one of my very favorite game soundtracks) if anyone's interested. I'm looking for any of these OSTs: * 19XX * Dimahoo/Great Mahou Daisakusen * Hotdog Storm * Metal Black * Silpheed * Operation Ragnarok/Zed Blade P.S.
